About Me

Thanks for visiting this website! This month's photo was taken September 2011 during a teaching and preaching trip to Colombia. Here I am talking to the children at a housing project. [Click picture to enlarge.]

Bob in Colombia

I am Jan's husband; dad to Michael, Philip, and Geoff; papaw to Skyla, Madison, Nathanael, Joseph, Morgan, and Clay. My favorite breakfast is huevos fritos, frijoles, and tortillas, with a good hot sauce and a cup of quality coffee! My greatest joy in life is being a part of the kingdom; my #1 goal is to advance "kingdom things." I seek to serve and share the "good news" about Jesus everywhere I go.

    HONDURAS--Association Amicus

    • BAXTER INSTITUTE
    • JAMES MOODY ADAMS CLINIC
      • Nutrition Program Update.htm
      • The work of the clinic--you can help! The clinic seeks to meet the medical and nutritional needs of the poorest people in Honduras.
You can help! Because patients pay only a minimal fee for medical or dental care, the clinic must pay a doctor, nurses, pharmacist, and dentist from donated funds.
You can help! For $30/month, you can provide the medical/dental and nutritional needs of a Honduran child. Medical professionals can donate time and services at the clinic. Medical brigades continue to provide care--most brigades spend a week at the clinic during the summer. Evangelistic teams work with patients at the clinic to share the gospel of Christ and to link those converted with a local congregation. Non-medical personnel work in nutrition and the distribution of supplies and food. Donations may be ear-marked for the clinic or the nutrition program, and sent directly to JMA Clinic, c/o Westover Hills Church of Christ, 8332 Mesa Drive, Austin, TX 78759.
