Honduras Bible study

Effective ministry and mission work is a team effort. Jan and I have shared ministry and mission work for 55 years! Countless people have encouraged us, supported us, loved us, and prayed for us. In addition to the customary "Brother Bob" or "Hermano Bob," I am also known as dad and papa (pa-paw). One of my favorite breakfasts is huevos fritos, frijoles, and tortillas, with hot sauce and a cup of rich coffee! The greatest joy of my life is being part of the kingdom of Jesus my King. My #1 priority is to advance "kingdom things" and to help develop authentic "kingdom people." I seek to share the Good News about Jesus everywhere I go, helping people find Jesus and helping people mature as disciples of Jesus. One of the greatest blessings of my life is to be loved by many people around the world!

Daily Devotionals and Bible Readings for 2015

Introduction
This series of devotional studies is designed to encourage a person to study and/or read through the New Testament in one year. Each devotional is based on one chapter of the New Testament. One may read the Scriptural text (included with the devotional) and thus study the entire New Testament in a year. Even better, one may choose also to read the daily chapter in one's own Bible and thus read the New Testament in one year (5 devotionals each week x 52 weeks = 260 chapters in the New Testament). The five-days-per-week schedule allows one to use weekends for catching up or for other reading and study projects.
The suggested order of readings allows the reader to alternate between different sections of the New Testament and different types of literature (gospels, history, letters, prophecy) rather than consecutively reading through the Gospels or the Pauline letters. Links to specific books are provided for those who prefer to study or read through the New Testament in order.
To provide a guide that can be used each year, the number of readings in a month has been determined based on what happens on the calendar in most years. Depending on the day of the week on which a month begins, there may be some variation as one moves from month to month.
