The second volume from Anderson on the subject of Christian leadership focuses on the heart and priorities of the leader. He uses Jesus, the lead Shepherd, as the model for developing shepherd hearts among the leaders of God’s people. Anderson makes clear that effective shepherds know that they are also sheep who have been loved by the Good Shepherd. The book is an enjoyable read, in part because of the many true-to-life illustrations.
